Our clear lightweight massage oil, fragranced with pure Lavender Essential Oil (imported from France), is a special blend of Sesame Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Jojoba Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, and Sweet Almond Oil. The oils that make up this massage oil are highly processed "pharmaceutical grade" oils and are very lightweight (viscosity), offering excellent glide and texture. Citrus Moon Therapeutic Massage Oil washes out of most linens without the aid of additives.

Many oils are readily available for purchase at your local Supermarket. The oils found there are typically food grade oils, which are thicker and have a short shelf life. Often times, massage oil blends made with food grade oils tend to smell a bit rancid after just a couple of months? But pharmaceutical grade and highly processed oils undergo a much stricter purification process. It is this process that removes the impurities from the oils by leaving lightweight oil that is clean, stable and easily accepted by the skin, thus making it perfect for massage. Highly purified oils have a shelf life of 2 years!
