Kaolin White Clay is the most abundant mineral in the Kaolinite group of clay. It is also known as China Clay or White Cosmetic Clay. Due to its natural adsorbent properties, it is an essential ingredient in the manufacturing of cosmetics, soaps, scrubs, poultices, face and body powders, and facial masks. Of all the cosmetic clays, White Kaolin is considered the mildest and therefore is appropriate for dry or sensitive skin. White Kaolin Clay absorbs impurities without removing natural oils, helps stimulate circulation, gently exfoliates and cleanses skin.

The primary elements found in Kaolin White Clay are Silicon, Aluminum, Iron and Titanium Oxide.

Usage: Add about 3 ounces of Kaolin White Clay to water when bathing for a luxurious and relaxing bath. To make a facial mask, slowly add warm water to a small amount of white clay in a glass, plastic, ceramic or stainless steel bowl. Mix in water until a creamy paste-like consistency has been achieved. Apply a thin layer of moistened clay to the face using either a cosmetic pad, brush or fingers (avoiding the mouth and eyes). Allow to air dry for 10-15 minutes (a little longer if necessary). Then simply remove the clay by washing with warm water.
